Course Materials Project

In 2021-2022, five colleagues from Wesleyan University and I formed a member team for the AAC&U Institute on Open Education Resources.

Our team focused on exploring how students on our campus made decisions regarding which course materials (e.g. textbooks, etc.) to purchase and what other strategies they used to gain access to materials that would help them succeed.

As part of that work, we conducted focus groups and administered surveys and, ultimately, presented the slide deck below to faculty in each of Wesleyan’s three divisions.
