I began this project in Fall 2018 so that I could learn about how students at Wesleyan University settle into college writing. I was particularly interested in how they felt about their writing prior to coming to college and how those feelings shaped their subsequent writing choices (e.g. what courses to take, whether to work with a writing tutor, etc.).

This slide deck is from the very first time I presented on the data from this project. I designed the slide deck to be a Choose Your Own Adventure. When presented live, audience members could identify a student they wanted to learn more about. The hyperlinking in the deck allowed me to quickly move a slide devoted specifically to that student.
