I have held a number of sessions with faculty about how to think about their generative AI policies for classes they are teaching. Each time I have held this workshop, the conversation in the room is drastically different.
This slide deck is from January 2025 and includes principles that I still think hold, even as the world of AI changes around us. These principles also align with the principles described in Gallant and Rettinger’s The Opposite of Cheating.
