In the late spring of each year, I hold a Zoom session for faculty called “Next Semester Now.” This session is an attempt to get faculty thinking about the fall semester long before it arrives, specifically regarding how they will handle generative AI in their teaching.
In Spring 2026, we focused specifically on AI literative review tools, which I chose because I suspected at least some aspects of these tools would be less contraversial for faculty to consider their students using.
